We are looking for an Assistant Project and Design Manager to join our team in Riyadh. Reporting to the Senior Design Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the management of multi-disciplinary building design projects, including project planning, design management, and coordination with stakeholders. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.

Job description

• Assist with project planning, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Coordinate project schedules, resources, and activities, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Work closely with the Senior Design Manager and design team to ensure that design concepts are fully developed, documented, and coordinated.
• Manage project risks and issues, ensuring that appropriate mitigation strategies are in place.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the design team, ensuring that all design work meets project requirements and standards.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and other external parties, to ensure that project requirements are fully understood and met.
• Prepare project progress reports and other documentation as required by the Senior Design Manager.
• Ensure that all project documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
• Support the Senior Design Manager in managing project budgets and resources, ensuring that projects are delivered within agreed-upon budgets and timelines.
• Participate in project and design reviews to ensure that lessons learned are documented and incorporated into future projects.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project and design management within the building design sector.
• Strong technical expertise in building design, including familiarity with design software and tools.
• Strong project management skills, including project planning, resource management, and risk management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
• Familiarity with building design standards and regulations within the Saudi Arabian market.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant project and design management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
