The MENS’ BU (Project structuring, Operation and New Services) is one of the world leaders in the financial project structuring of PPP projects, as well as in the operation of infrastructures and services. In the road sector, Egis operates and maintains 44 roads and highways, including civil structures such as bridges, viaducts and tunnels. Through 28 operating companies, Egis employs more than 9,300 people in more than 20 countries, i.e. nearly 4,400 km.

In the airport sector, our BU operates, maintains and develops a network of 17 airports around the world, handling more than 30 million passengers and 330,000 tons of freight per year.

The MENS’ BU also offers a wide range of services for its customers such as electronic toll collection, interoperability and on-street parking management.

M25, one of our flagship projects!

Egis and our joint-venture partners have formed Connect Plus Ltd (M25) for managing the 30 year, £6.2bn Design, Build, Finance, Operate (DBFO) contract for the M25 motorway and associated arterial routes surrounding London. The concession period commenced in September 2009 and initially focussed on successfully widening Europe’s busiest network prior to the 2012 Olympics. Delivery of operations and maintenance, renewals and other network improvements will continue over the 30-year period.

Job description


The Data Analyst will work closely with the Investment Manager, the rest of the Connect Plus Team, the O&M company Connect Plus Services asset managers and asset management IT specialists, to develop key analysis over the large portfolio of assets to support strategic investment decisions to deliver the short- and long-term objectives of the company. The Asset Support Manager will also help define and implement the Data Strategy for Connect Plus, providing leadership and guidance to other project stakeholders as well as acting as a project sponsor on some key data projects.

The role is a unique opportunity to work in the Project Company (SPV) of a major infrastructure project, and can evolve into other domains, with either Commercial, Investment or Technical focus.

·         Manage the development of long-term investment plans across all asset categories through the Asset Management Forward Plan and its 30 Year Rolling Asset Management Plan.

·         Maintain and analyse asset data and processes within the Asset Management System to support investment planning decisions.

·         Enable the provision of reliable and up to date historical, current, and predicted performance of the highway assets.

·         Understand methodologies to collect, measure and report the performance of assets – from individual assets to aggregated stocks.

·         Increase understanding of key trends and factors contributing to assets’ deterioration, asset management strategies and their translation into objective performance and risk-based decision trees and other key assumptions featured in the project Decision Support Tool.

·         Develop methodologies to price asset risk systematically across the different asset portfolios.

·         Define, develop, and implement cost-capture processes to improve consistency and accuracy of unit rates.

·         Drive implementation of processes to capture and demonstrate benefit realisation and operational efficiencies across the organisation.

·         Act as client-side project sponsor for key data and digital projects (such as multi-year drainage investment models, budget constraints pavement model and others). Sponsor the enhancements and developments of existing investment planning tools (DST) and data management tools (RMMS).

·         Develop and maintain dashboards to report efficiently on historic, current and future asset performance.

·         Develop investment business cases for innovative solutions and assess their financial feasibility.

·         Understand the impact of Investment Planning on Project Finance modelling,

·         Produce key reports and Board level Presentations.



Engineering, Economics or Data background, with preferably an Advance Masters Degree, with a first experience, ideally in data management, investment planning or forecasting.


Skills required:

·         Ability to understand and challenge Asset Management Strategies

·         Ability to manage and work with large quantities of data

·         Ability to understand and develop sophisticated analytical and modelling tools

·         Ability to create efficient communication tools (Dashboards)

·         Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and generate its own workload

·         Proactivity and ability to operate autonomously in a senior team

·         Ability to multi-task and deliver multiple projects in parallel

·         Good communication and presentation skills

·         IT literate; Knowledge of Asset Management IT systems, SQL or Power BI would be a plus

·         Interest in development and management of major infrastructure projects
